I would love to know how to get access to the pictures and the slideshow. We have an Etta in our family and I have often wondered if we were related to this Lawson family since my Lawson's come from Stoke's county and my granny Daisy L. Lawson (Smith) lived in Germanton.

Thank you Angel71242, my email address is klh0320@hotmail.com, my dad is William Rex Lawson, son of Carl and Daisy L. Lawson from Stokes County. Carl was the brother of Clara and I'm not sure of others but if I hear names I'm sure I would have heard stories. There is Cherokee in my Lawsons that I know started from a woman named Malissa (Green or Woods, for some reason I get these mixed up, maybe because when I think of woods I think of trees which are green? LOL) Thank you for any information you can provide.

I will ask Maria about those names - Maria was an administrator in our old forum and she is the resident expert on the Lawsons. Her son made the DVD "A Christmas Family Tragedy" and Maria was the interviewer in the DVD - she has talked to everyone possible related to the Lawsons. I have to say, the names you have given me do not sound familiar. There were many lines of Lawson's in Stokes county that were not related to the Lawson's of the tragedy, but I am no expert! So I will talk to Maria about it. In the meantime, I don't have a lot of pictures, but I will email you what I have.

Ok I talked to Maria. She says there were 2 lines of Lawsons back then and the names you have given must have been in the non-tragedy related Lawsons because she does not recognize any of them. I'd say they probably knew Charlie and family tho!!
I have emailed you the pictures I have. Please let me know if you do not receive them. I will be back in here on Monday.

Sorry - those pictures were from our old forum (on a different website). The lady who maintained the pictures is no longer a part of the forum. If I ever get a chance, I will try to get some Lawson pictures back in the link.

Be sure to check out the link in the menu bar of the Lawson Family Murders Related Photos. You will see some photos you've never seen before in the books or anywhere else. These are two pages of some of the photos in my Scrapbook. There will be another page added next week. Vickie put all of the background pages for these photos as well as the ones for Brian and Angel's visit. GREAT JOB Vickie!!! You're the best. why cant i see them? |
