I just read in one of the old threads from our other forum where Jackhammer said:
The sign of a well made documentary is the interest in the subject matter after the you've watched the film.
I don't remember ever seeing or reading that particular post but I'm glad I saw it this morning because that means our Documentary was very well made indeed!!!! The next time someone says our Documentary was terrible or very poorly made we can just look em in the eye and say: "Then why are you still so interested in the Lawson Murders?"!!!!!!!!

That is so true Maria and Jackhammer. I think the documentary peaked more interest about the Lawson Murder's for anyone who watched it.

What Jackhammer said is so very true. I know we all have films that we may have watched years ago and still remember. I think that is how this documentary is viewed by a lot of people. They remember what they saw.

The key to the success of it goes beyond remembering it. The key is: Are you still interested in the story after the credit roll, and does it leave you wanting to learn more about it? This message forum is a resounding YES!!! We knew it was a success when we saw people lining up to buy our Documentary AFTER the show was over.

You're correct Maria, people are still interested. The documentary in my opinion was just so true to how the killings must have happened. Also this forum gives everyone an opportunity to ask questions of each other and bounce around ideas of how we think things occurred.

Another sign that we presented a well made Documentary is that I heard from a lot of people that they watched the documentary multiple times. You don't watch a movie or Documentary or read the same book more than once if you don't like it!!!
