I just want to say that it is sooooooooooooooooooo sad that Byrd and Melanie Billings were murdered. These are the 2 people in Florida that had 16 children - 12 of whom were adopted and many of those 12 had developmental disabilities and other problems. I just can't understand this crazy world. They were such good people helping these children this way and it just breaks my heart that these little children were given a wonderful opportunity in life (being adopted by the Billings) and now, who knows what will happen with them. I heard they are staying with relatives in the family, but who knows if it will stay that way. What a sad story.

That is sad Angel and I also read that nine of the couple's 13 adopted children were home during the break-in, and that three saw the intruders but were not hurt (thank God!) The accomplice assigned to turn off surveillance cameras before the break-in never did, so the video led investigators to a red van used as a getaway car and eventually to the suspects, a loosely connected group of mostly day laborers who knew each other through a power washing business and an auto detailing operation. But there is more to this story. Pamela Laverne Long who is a local real estate agent was sought after and brought in for questioning, a possible connection to the murders. More innocent Americans killed by foreigners, doesn't this tell the United States anything? ?

Eight people have now been arrested in connection to these murders. At least one of them is a woman. The police are calling it a robbery gone bad. I hope the book is thrown at these people hard enough to do some serious harm if you know what I mean.
