I'm still curious who told the authors of the book about the conversation between Arthur Lawson and his cousin Sanders regarding Arthur's girlfriend. Since Arthur and Sanders were both dead, where did her info come from? I'm thinking (but don't know) Stella Lwson Boles, Sander's sister. However, how would she know? It doesn't seem like something Sanders would tell her. Hey Stella, I asked Arthur today while we were walking to the store if Irene McGee was the girl for him and Arthur said Yes. Hardly likely. If it came from Stella she probably told the author that at the time of the murders Arthur was dating the McGee girl and then the Author took it from there and added the part about Sanders asking Arthur on the way to the store that morning if Annie Mae McGee was the one for him. In other words one piece of info was used with background added which we all know as Artistic License. Maria Maria

I agree that Stella Lawson was probably the one that told "the author" about Annie Mcgee. What bothered me most was the fact that she got the name wrong. Not surprised, just bothered.

Same here...not at all surprised but definitely irritated. The same thing happened concerning her published info on Charlie Wade Hampton. She said in TMOOT that he died from a brain tumor. He did not, he died in a house fire. It was Charlie Wade's wife Annie Taylor who died from a brain tumor. Maria

After all the mistakes that was made in this book, are we 100% sure that his name was even Charlie. LOL! If they researched this story like they claimed to have, I don't see how there are so many mistakes. Did they talk to anyone but Stella?? I would be ashamed to charge people good money for this unless I called it fiction.
