On behalf of The Patrick County Genealogy Society, we would like to personall thank Break Of Dawn Productions, as well as Tom and Carol Beasley at the Star Theatre and Lois Collier of Citizens Against Family Violence for their participation in the showing of this wonderful Documentary. It was very educational and well done. Eric, thank you so much for being such a wonderful host at this event. You did a good job answering all the questions that were asked at the end. Thanks also to all of you who came to see this movie. I could not be more proud of the 2 "sold out" shows in one day for this movie and for the people coming from everywhere to see it. We are looking forward to Break Of Dawn coming back to The Star Theatre for another showing of the Charlie Lawson Tragedy. Thanks also Sissy for the many posters about this event that you put up for us. Famalpha

Thank You!! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. I love the old theatres like The Star. It was so wonderful to have The genealogical Society there. It was a well rounded event and everyone who helped get the word out did an amazing job. Eric

I would also like to thank Break Of Dawn Productions and Maria who did the research that was so very well done in the production of this movie which put to rest some of the folk lore stories we all have heard. I know we even had Lawson and Manring Family relativesat both showings of this event in Patrick County. Just today I met another family member. I also want to thank you all for bringing to light the problem of domestic and family violence. As a victim of family violence myself, the bestt thing as victims we can all do is to talk about it and try to learn and help other victims along the way, Another Thank You goes to The Stuart Volunteer Fire Department which so graciously gave of their time to direct traffic and park cars for us, also to Richard Rogers t WHEO Radio Station for the wonderful interview he did with Matt. Our news releases and calender notices in all the surrounding news papers and radio stations really paid off along with all the flyers David Sheely and Sissy placed throughout the county. I was so amazed at the huge number of people we had at this event. It is wonderful to use this as an educational resource. I was really paying attention to genealogical venues you used in the documentary, including vital records, news paper clippings, pictures, etc. This was truly a blessed event. I am glad that the monies are going for a very worth while cause. Thanks again Break Of Dawn. GREAT JOB. Famalpha
