Oh yeah, he defintely killed Fannie and Marie before he killed James, Raymond, and Marylou. Arthur wasn't the only one who could have stopped him that day, I believe Marie could have as well. She was a strong looking big boned girl.

It may sound bad, but I truly hope that Fannie was either already dead or so out of it that she didn't hear the children being murdered. It just breaks my heart to think that if she wasn't she laid there knowing her children were going to die and she could do nothing about it. Another thing I wonder about, if she was conscious, did Charlie taunt her, maybe even tell her what he had done or was gonna do. I wonder if he confessed to her that he molested Marie and maybe even the other girls. We will never know what he said or did for sure that day. I never thought of that Sissy. I wonder if he did exchange words with any of his family before he killed them. And I'm gonna beleive that Fannie was dead before he killed the children, she may have seen Maria get shot, who knows. Its too sad to think she saw her babies be murdered.

She probably didn't see or hear her children get shot and die but I feel certain she knew they were going to die just as she was the moment she was shot. Either she saw Marie get killed or Marie saw her get killed. Either way it was terrible for which ever one saw and heard the other one die.

Yes, either way it happened, it was horrible for someone. One of them probably knew the other was going to die and I'm sure Fannie thought of little Marylou also. Just horrible
