02/13/07 at 01:16 PM freespirit27184 Hi all, I have been reading and enjoying the site. I attended the King showing with my Mother. It is ironic, I just finished reading the 1990 book, my uncle let me borrow it. His last name is Lawson, and I have not had the nerve to ask him if/how he is related. I do know he came from Lawsonville. He was alive at the time and remembers the funerals, I think he was 12. I also went to see my aunt, who is 99 yr old. She was 22 at the time of the funeral, and she and her husband went to the funeral. She stated it was too many people, and they just went home. I didnt ask a lot of detail because my dad was in the room, but I plan to go back to talk to her. My great uncle helped dig the grave, and he and my paternal grandfather may be in the pic at the gravesite. If I can ever get my book back or movie back (on loan to family members), I will try to identify them in the pic. BTW, I thought the film was well done and interesting. I am looking forward to other adventures Matt may have filming. Good luck, (ps, I will send contact info to BoD in case you ever want to do further research on the topic - also, along with the book titled I mentioned Sat night to Matt.) freespirit27184
12/24/07 at 11:35 AM Maria UAP 8. I met the man who I think was your father that night. He said his father was from Lawsonville and had been in the same class in school as Charlie Lawson was. He also called a female relative of his who was in her nineties but she refused to answer any of his questions and said she would not discuss it with anyone. Maria
