01/11/08 at 10:53 AM Maria So far we have among the items listed as being in Charlie Lawson's coat pocket 1. 2 notes 2. 1 pencil 3. A circular letter 4. Several bills of sale of tobacco 5. And just this morning I read where he also had a statement from his Insurance Company Shenandoah Life Insurance. Anybody know of or have heard of any other items in his pocket? Lint doesn't count. 01/13/08 at 04:56 PM Maria If they don't Laurie, blame no one but I!!!!!! I don't know but you can check it out and see. And let us know, will you. That would be a cool find. I wonder if it's the same company. It was for $1,000.00 and the year 1929 under the name Charles Davis Lawson. I'd love to know how long before the murders he had it. Maria
01/13/08 at 05:32 PM Michael818 It may be, and it may not. Before the current Yadkin Valley Bank that thrives in Western NC, there was an original Yadkin Valley Bank that was established in East Bend, with JG Huff as one of the Board. The original vault of that bank can be seen in the east Bend Town Hall to this day! The same could be true with this insurance company. Michael R. Michael818
