Whew=eeeeeeee, NascarLover (Tim) and I made a run down to Vickies house yesterday to go back to the old abandoned house. Man, it was one scorching hot day. We went upstairs this time as well as into the attic but there was nothing in any of the rooms like there is in the rooms on the first floor. Disappointed? You bet. But we had a blast jumping and sceaming every time we saw a spider, a bee, or our own shadows. Tim got just as as scared as us girls did!!!! The other building on the property was empty with nothing in it but straw all over the floor. The third one was falling in on itself so we felt it was too dangerous to attempt to enter. We went on to another abandoned house a little further away but it was padlocked big time which really disappointed me because Vickie/Debbie looked in one of the windows and saw some furniture. But we still had a great time. I got so hot and tired that Vickie/Debbie gave me a piggy-back ride and scared me senseless when she acted like she was going to sling me off. She fell down big time when she jumped off the porch of the first house we were at. I know it's not polite to laugh at someone when they fall but I couldn't help it. She was flat on her back laughing uproarously but it was how she fell that got me so tickeled. She landed on her butt and as she tried to get up she lost her balance even more so and in slow motion I watched as she fell even further, until she was flat on her back. Her expression was priceless. All in all we had a fantastic time!!! If you want to have fun and a good time...hang out with Vickie/Debbie. I guarantee you will have a blast.

You're right Maria....we had a blast as usual!! OK....everyone in here that knows Miss Maria is aware of her "picture taking abilities"....right? Well upon entering that old abandoned house, there was a Japanese hornet on the corner of the porch where you had to enter the house. I am allergic to bee's so I was thinking to myself.....(self, do you want to risk it and take a chance of that inch long bee stinging you, and I said back to "self", YEAH), and to my surprise I also found out that Tim was also allergic to bee stings! Boy, I think he was more upset than I was. But we got in, and here is where Maria's photography comes into play. We are all huddled around Tim, and every 2 feet, Maria wants to take a photo, walk 2 feet take another photo, go up dark stairs stop, take a photo, walk into a spider's web, scream, take a photo.......all kidding aside, I love to kid Maria about this!! But she is the best picture taker around.
Maria was right about there not being any bathrooms in this home, which didn't surprise me. But there wasn't a kitchen either. Maria figured that the kitchen was probably built away from the house and possibly burned or was destroyed.
We really had fun, and it was great meeting Nascar Lover and hearing about his racing stories! He is a really sweet guy!! Hopefully we will get pictures up soon!
PS...Maria, my body is sore, and I'm not sure if it was from the fall or the piggy back ride....hehehe

Oh I know how Maria is about her pictures, when we went to Creasy Chapel church, I swear i think she took a picture of every stone in there. :)But that just makes trips with Maria more fun.

Aw, you guys are SO sweet. I hate to admit it Angel but no we didn't peek into any of the drawers of that old dresser. I can't believe none of thought to do that. We didn't experience anything freaky there like we did the other time in that rocking chair room either. But still we had a ton of fun.

I am just now getting in to post about my visit with Maria and Vickie and her daughter Erica to the old abandoned house because I could not figure out how to activate my account. I finally went and got Maria and brought her to my house so she could activate it for me. So now I'm back in the forum. I really did enjoy meeting debbie and Erica. Debbie fixed us a wonderful meal of spaghetti, salad and cherry cheesecake that was delicious. I ate two plates of spaghetti and two big bowls of salad with chicken, tomatos, onions, cucumbers, and bacon bits and 2 slices of cheesecake. The old abandoned house was creepy and I got tickeled at Debbie when she fell too. Maria was so funny screaming and laughing as debbie carried her on her back. It was a wonderful trip and I want to go back again soon. Hint hint Debbie!!!!
