I don't know about the rest of you but I can't stand it when total strangers knock on my door with bible in hand asking if I know Jesus and if I have been saved. Two women did that to me today and when I saw them coming I knew what they were walking to my door for. I decided this time I would give them something to remember. So when they asked me that tired routine of a question Do you know Jesus? I replied, I don't know, is that the new guy that moved in upstairs last week? they then gave me a leaflet identifying themselves as Jehovah Witnesses. The topic on the leaflet was THE END IS NEAR. I looked up and said so the end is near is it and the younger of the two said yes mam it sure is. I replied, well do tell, any idea what day this is going to take place? She replied "this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Coliseum." To which I replied That soon huh,? Any idea if food will be provided? The older woman informed the younger one that I was asking about the END OF THE WORLD, not when and where the Convention for Jehovah's Witnesses would be held!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet those two ladies won't forget their encounter with me anytime soon!!!!!

That is too funny Maria!!!!!! My husband once told some Jehovah's Witness's that he was a satanist and he invited them in to talk about satanism. I don't know if that's funny or not, but they never came to his door again! (And no, he is not really a satanist!!)

Hey Angel,I told the Mormons who came a-knocking one day that I was a die hard Atheist with Aids!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'll print off a copy of that Vickie and put it on my front door!!!!!!!!

I am sure Maria was the subject of interest last night at The Kingdom Hall. At least that's one way of keeping them away unless they send others to really try to save you. A copy of the sign that Vickie posted should work. WAY TO GO MARIA!!!!!!
