THANKS Sissy for the link. It's like Drag Me To Hell in that someone puts a curse on someone else in both of these movies. But Drag Me To Hell looks scarier to me than Thinner.

Oh my Lord, I have every Stephen King book ever written! I have definitely seen and read Thinner. It was good! I've tried to see every Stephen King movie made!! I looooove Stephen King!! And yes Maria, Drag Me To Hell looks scarier, of course it's probably around 10-15 years newer than Thinner.
As for going to the movie with Matt....AWWWWWWWWW that's sweet!!!!!!!!! I hope ya'll enjoy it - I'm sure ya'll will!!!

I also thought The Alien with Sigourney Weaver was scary. I'm like Maria everytime the Alien jumped out I jumped. It took me three times to get through the entire movie. I liked the second one better where the main character goes back (can't remember her name in the movie". I saw Psycho when I was very young and it did scare me. For weeks I wouldn't take a shower with the curtain completely closed. Even today I don't want the curtain completely closed. Alfred Hitchcock was a great director for horror. Steven King is also a very very good writer of horror. I don't plan to see "Drag me to Hell" it looks too intense for me.

I'm a screamer when I get scared as some of you already know all too well. What would really be FUN would be if some of us in the forum... Angel, Vickie, Susan, Sissy, Brian, Karen, Matt and me could all go together to see a scary movie. Man oh man would that be great!!

Then you could all find out how nervous I get at these scary movies. I can't deal with the cutting up of bodies. It would be fun with all of you. I would just hide my eyes through most of it or I could wait in the lobby and eat popcorn and you'll could tell me all about it when it's over.

Sorry Susan, no chickens allowed in the theatre!!! You have to scream and jump out of your skin along with the rest of us. I don't like body mutilation scenes either. That's not scary, just disgusting. If you hide out in the lobby you have to pay for everyone's popcorn and candy!!!!
